Many roads lead to Rome. There are slightly fewer in the Viamala vacation region. But there are many that take you elsewhere. You can hike them and learn a lot in the process.

Viamala Walking Trails Project

The "Viamala Walking Trails" project aims to give visitors an insight into the history of our villages. The first "Viamala Walking Trail" was opened in Thusis in spring 2015 under the motto "Of muleteers and merchants." Further projects have since been implemented.

Klangwald Lohn

The sound trail leads through the Lohner forest, which lies to the southwest of the village. Along the 2 km circular trail, 22 unique sound objects can be tried out. A very special sound and nature experience. A trail for all six senses.

Domleschg

The diverse and varied cultural landscape of Domleschg is characterized by high-stem orchards, hedges, dry stone walls and especially by its castles and palaces, to which the Domleschg Castle Trail is dedicated.

Splügen Dragon Trail

From summer 2026, the Splügen Dragon Trail will enrich Splügen's attractions with an interactive circular route through the historic upper village, on which Schorsch the dragon takes children and adults on a playful and mysterious journey through the history of the village.
