Viamala Tourism has been offering an online voucher system at viamala.ch/gutscheine since December 2019. The aim is to create a gift voucher that can be redeemed throughout the Viamala tourist region. The voucher system helps to promote the region and thus generate added value, provided... You join in?

Here is some detailed information to help you decide:

1. The guest obtains and pays for the voucher in any amount directly at viamala.ch/vouchers. They can print it out themselves or have it sent to them. Or they can buy it directly at one of the guest information points in Splügen or Thusis.
2. The guest redeems the voucher at a participating establishment of their choice. They can redeem the full amount or only a partial amount (the voucher liability remains with Viamala Tourism for accounting purposes). The participating business simply debits the amount directly via an app or on the computer. At the end of each month, the redeemed amount is transferred minus a 5% contribution towards costs.

• The vouchers technically remain redeemable beyond the expiration date (goodwill 2 years)....
