On Saturday, September 26, 2026, at 7 p.m. , the Bachhuus Hinterrhein will combine a multi-course meal featuring regional goat products with brief table talks on goat farming, agriculture, and landscape conservation.
Local products, fine dining, and a fascinating presentation combine culinary enjoyment with insights into goat farming and agriculture. Reservations are required by 4:00 p.m. the day before at reservation@bachhuus.ch
Regional goat products take center stage during the “Semaine du Goût in the Viamala Region” culinary week. A delectable menu featuring goat meat combines culinary delights with fascinating insights into goat farming, landscape conservation, and the importance of these animals to the mountain region. The meal is accompanied by brief, practical presentations during which experts in agriculture and park management share insights into the role of goats in agriculture and their contribution to the preservation of the cultural landscape. This is a unique culinary experience that combines enjoyment, regional character, and an appreciation for local products with the sharing of knowledge, bringing to life the importance of goats for Graubünden’s agriculture and mountain region.
