Stepping in at the last minute for Rachel Breen, the exceptional Ukrainian pianist Illia Ovcharenko—winner of the competition in Canada—will perform alongside Jiaxin Min for the first time in Andeer; Min captivated the audience last year in the finals of the Queen Elisabeth Competition in Brussels. Their multifaceted program ranges from Bach to Revutsky and Smit to Stravinsky’s fiery four-hand version of “Le Sacre du printemps.”
