Restaurant Pizzeria Altes Zollhaus

The Restaurant Pizzeria Altes Zollhaus in Splügen is centrally located in the village and has a rich history dating back to 1822. Originally built as a customs and goods warehouse and as a passageway for horse-drawn carts, the building was rebuilt and renovated over the course of time. The south-western part of the Old Customs House was demolished at the beginning of the 20th century, followed by a further demolition of the northern courtyard in 1983. The reconstruction was carried out in the traditional architectural style with tufa arches, which give the building a charming character.
