Naturpark Beverin

The area of the Beverin Nature Park stretches around the Piz Beverin - known for its deep gorges, intact villages, churches that shape the landscape, crystal-clear mountain lakes and majestic ibexes.
The kings of the Alps live proudly in the rock faces around Piz Beverin (2998 m above sea level) and watch over the wild, unique landscape of the 412 square kilometer nature park. The foundation of the Beverin Nature Park is formed by the approximately 3000 inhabitants of the eleven political municipalities.
Together with the park communities and the local population, the nature park is working on the future of the region. Innovative, creative solutions should enable the region to develop sustainably.
The Viamala, Roffla and Rhine gorges, the alpine mountain landscape around the Piz Beverin, the peace and seclusion of the Safiental, the crystal-clear mountain lakes and the species-rich dry meadows are among the impressive natural values in the park area.
