Fishing near the spring of the Hinterrhein and its tributaries as well as on our countless mountain lakes is relaxing and meditative. It really doesn't matter if nobody bites. The area is also a dream for fly fishermen.
Season
The main fishing season in the canton of Graubünden and thus also in the destination Viamala lasts from May 1 to September 15 and on standing waters up to and including October 15. A license (variable period of validity) is required for fishing in Graubünden.
Waters with different annual fishing periods:
Destination Viamala / Hinterrhein: Albula confluence to the Reichenau Castle steel bridge (208 to 209) may also be fished from February 1 to March 31.

Private fishing waters "Surettaseen"
The Suretta lakes are leased from the Rheinwald fishing association and require a special license. This can now be obtained directly from the information board at the mountain lakes using the QR code. The private fishing regulations must also be observed.
