Haselstein Castle

Haselstein has served as a cultural castle for the Schams region and as a basis for castle preservation in Graubünden since 1983.
The castle was built around 1273 by Heinrich von Reischen. It was probably abandoned around the middle of the 14th century and fell into disrepair over the years. From 1970 it was reconstructed with the original remains of the walls. The castle has been owned by the Pro Castellis institution since 2016. The castle is only accessible on request.
