Magic Wood bouldering paradise

The first boulderers (rock climbers) discovered the "Magic Wood" area in the municipality of Ferrera back in 1996. In 2004, this trend was taken up by the municipality and the "Magic Wood" area was rezoned as a bouldering zone.

The climbing area is located in the middle of the "Paré da Miezgi" area on the "Ragn da Ferrera", completely in the forest.

The bouldering area is around 250 m wide and 500 m long. The municipality of Ferrera has now opened up access to the "Magic Wood" with a bridge. Boulderers who do not wish to camp on the overnight site have the option of spending the night in the Gasthaus Edelweiss in Ausserferrera with its associated tourist house GENEROSO or in the Gasthaus Alpenrose in Innerferrera.

At Bodhi Camping it is possible to hire crash pads (bouldering mats) and climbing shoes.
