Car-free Splügen Pass
A historic traffic route without traffic jams and noise?

The Splügen free pass makes it possible: on Sunday, June 29th 2025 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., the section from Splügen to Campodolcino will be closed to motorized traffic. (E-)cyclists and other non-motorized vehicles are very welcome. The experience is unique: a 40-turn ascent to the mountain pass, a stop at Montespluga for a strong espresso, a short break at the Berghaus, and a long descent back to Splügen. There, a catering and a regional market with food stands and gifts await all those who stayed at home. Insurance is the responsibility of the participants.
