Leche Asada

Recipe for 4-6 people
200 g Eggs
200 g Condensed milk
200 g Milk
200 g Cream

Preparation

Preparation

  1. Mix all the ingredients thoroughly in a bowl.
  2. Either pour the mixture into a large baking dish or divide it between several glass baking jars.
  3. Place the mold or jars in the preheated oven at 170°C and bake for approx. 20 minutes.

To check whether the egg custard is firm, prick it with a pin - if it comes out clean, it is ready. If not, bake it a little longer. Then leave the pudding to cool.


Serve

Serve the egg custard directly in the jar or, if you have used a large mold, cut it into rectangular portions. Arrange the pieces on a plate and pour the caramel sauce generously over them. To finish, top with whipped cream and decorate with a pretty physalis or other fruit.


Tip

Give your egg custard a personal touch by adding your favorite flavors when mixing the egg and milk mixture: For example, instant coffee powder, coconut, vanilla extract, amaretto, cocoa powder or cinnamon.
