Introductory Course
In just half a day, David will guide you from theory to practice: You’ll learn about materials, entomology, and hydrology, practice the overhead cast and the roll cast, and finally present your first fly on the Hinterrhein. Everything is taught step by step, with personalized guidance.

Beginner's Course
You’ll learn various fly-fishing techniques, knot tying, entomology, and knowledge of waterways and fish—from fish species and closed seasons to legal minimum sizes. After practicing on land, we’ll head to the water: roll casts and overhead casts, fly selection and presentation—all the way through to the fight, gentle landing, and the crucial question: Where are the fish?
Dates for 2026: July 15 & 16 / August 22 & 23
Intensive Beginner Course
You’ll learn various fly-fishing techniques, knot tying, entomology, and knowledge of waterways and fish—from fish species and closed seasons to legal minimum sizes. After dry-land practice, we head to the water: roll casts and overhead casts, fly selection and presentation—all the way through to the fight, gentle landing, and the crucial question: Where are the fish? Thanks to four days on the water, there’s more time to practice, deepen your skills, and enjoy the experience.
Dates for 2026: July 17–20 / August 13–16
Advanced Course
You’ll solidify your basic casts—the roll cast and the overhead cast—and learn the double-hand cast. You’ll refine various fly-fishing techniques, develop a feel for the right tactics depending on water levels, and expand your knowledge of entomology. And when the moment comes, you’ll land your trophy fish safely and carefully.
Dates for 2026: May 2 & 3 / September 5 & 6
Hiking & Fly Fishing
After the transfer, you’ll hike up to select mountain lakes in Graubünden, Ticino, or nearby Italy. Once you reach the water, it’s time to assemble your rod, take a deep breath—and start fishing. David will accompany you all day, providing personalized guidance right by the water.
