This fall, a special experience awaits families, friends, and groups at Alp Raguta: In the Giant Snakes and Ladders game, participants become the game pieces themselves on a 20 × 20-meter playing field set against a stunning mountain backdrop.

A different take on the ladder game: Instead of moving a small game piece across the board, the participants move themselves across the large playing field. Roll the dice, move forward, use the ladders, and overcome obstacles—this creates a fun experience for young and old alike.

Alp Raguta offers a unique setting for this: high above the valley, with sweeping views of the Grisons mountains and plenty of space for an eventful day with family, friends, or coworkers.

For families, friends, and groups

The Giant Snakes and Ladders game is suitable for groups of 2 to 6 people. Players start at intervals of about 15 to 20 minutes. This allows several groups to take turns making their way across the game board.

Alp Raguta also offers plenty of culinary delights. If you're planning a trip there, be sure to allow plenty of time and take the opportunity to combine your fun-filled activities with a visit to the mountain hut.

Dates and Reservations

The Giant Snakes and Ladders Game will take place this fall on Alp Raguta. The scheduled dates are October 9–18 and October 23–25. Additional events are tentatively planned for October 30–November 1 and November 6–8, 2026, provided the cable car is in operation.
