Bödeli sensory oasis

Feel the place you are in. Enjoy your surroundings and let things take their course.
Fastetg, Ravetsch, Curnatsch: this is how poetic the Rhaeto-Romanic place names in Rothenbrunnen sound. "Bödeli", the name for this hill, sounds somewhat simpler. The old Rhaeto-Romanic name "Plaun digl Bogn", however, expresses what kind of place it is: the plain above the bath / This bath is fed by two springs: the Aua Alva, the white water, and the Fontana rossa, the spring with the reddish (fountain) water. Rothenbrunnen owes its name and its former importance as a spa town to this spring, which contains iron and iodine / Today, the old spa house in Rothenbrunnen attracts visitors with flowers instead of bathing cures. The magnificent gardens of the Kurhaus also set the mood for the Domleschg: The valley is known as the orchard of Graubünden.
