The Schwarzsee lakes above the Madrisa Valley in the Avers
The two lakes are located in the Avers side valley Val Madrisch just a few hundred meters from the Italian border at 2520 m above sea level.
The lake is a popular destination for hikers and mountain lake fishermen. The ascent from the parking lot at the Hohenhaus in Val Madrisch takes around 2.5 hours.
