Schauenstein Castle

The historic Schauenstein Castle in Fürstenau combines exceptional gourmet cuisine, stylish hospitality, and a unique atmosphere. The restaurant, run by Andreas Caminada and Marcel Skibba, has been awarded three Michelin stars and 19 Gault&Millau points, and is considered one of the world’s most renowned gourmet destinations.

In addition to Schauenstein Castle, Fürstenau also features the vegetarian restaurant Oz, the boutique hotel Casa Caminada—which has its own bakery—and a concept store.

The kitchen at Schloss Schauenstein showcases treasures from the castle’s own vegetable garden as well as select products from the Alpine region. Twelve modern, individually designed rooms and suites are available for overnight guests. The historic ambiance and a carefully curated breakfast round out the culinary experience.
