Cufercal hut SAC
The hut was built in 1937. Cozy lounge made of solid pine. 23 beds with comforters in two bedrooms. In summer, a wonderful hiking area with rich flora, fauna, ibex and chamois awaits hikers. The hut paths are easy to follow and are therefore also recommended for families with children. From the hut you can enjoy a magnificent view of the Splügen Pass and Piz Tambo.
The Cufercal hut is open daily from the end of June to mid-October. For further information, please contact the hut warden Margrith Monigatti. See contact information! Use of winter room by reservation only.
Opening hours
Open on Saturdays and Sundays in June and from July to mid-October.
Winter room:
The hut key must be collected in Sufers from Reto and Anna Heinz (Stückliweg 3, 7434 Sufers). The first reservation counts, so no further guests can be accepted. Fondue stoves are available and drinks can be consumed for a fee.
