The Alp dil Plaun offers various delicacies during the alp season
During the alpine season, you can enjoy delicious local specialties at the alp.

Our beautiful alpine paradise is located between Feldis and Scheid at an elevation of approximately 1,950 meters and is situated in a stunning hiking area. It is easily accessible from the Felids-Mutta mountain station in about 30–45 minutes on foot.

We, Günther and Nadia from South Tyrol—often with the help of Kevin and Sally (on their days off)—have been managing this alp for the 17th summer in a row. We milk the cows belonging to farmers from Scheid and Feldis and use the milk to make fine Graubünden alpine cheese and alpine butter. In addition to the dairy cows, we also care for about 40 pigs, who get to spend their alpine summer here.

Of course, we cook and bake our own alpine products for our guests. We offer a small but delicious selection of hot and cold dishes. Our menu includes barley soup, dumpling soup, farmer’s toast (toasted rye bread), Vienna sausages, house-made sausages, our Alpine cheese, and much more. We also offer daily specials from time to time—all homemade, of course.

Among our highlights are our desserts, such as apple pie, Linzer torte, and buckwheat cake (gluten-free), as well as homemade yogurt. During peak season, we also offer many other daily desserts, such as our raspberry roll (also gluten-free) or Black Forest cake, and perhaps the occasional other treat.
