Andeer–Juf Mountain Bike Race
On Sunday, August 16, 2026, the 43rd Andeer–Juf Mountain Bike Race will take place. The historic route runs from Andeer to the highest year-round inhabited village in Europe, challenging participants with a 28-kilometer course and 1,144 meters of elevation gain.
The Andeer–Juf mountain bike race is one of the region’s classic sporting events. In 2026, riders will once again tackle the challenging mountain route from Andeer via Ausserferrera, Innerferrera, Cröt, and Cresta to Juf. The race starts at 10:25 a.m. at the Andeer Spa. The finish line is located at the town sign in Juf at 2,126 meters above sea level.
For ambitious cyclists
The main race covers 28 kilometers and 1,144 meters of elevation gain. In addition to the men’s and women’s categories, there are also classifications for junior women and men, as well as for U-15 riders. The U-15 course starts in Cröt and covers 9 kilometers and 440 meters of elevation gain to Juf.
Registration and Entry Fee
Online registration is open until August 13, 2026. The entry fee is CHF 40 for men and women and CHF 15 for juniors and U-15 participants. Late registrations are accepted starting August 14 and on race day until 9:00 a.m. for a late registration fee of CHF 20.
Children's Bike Race in Andeer
Young cyclists won’t be left out either: The 23rd Children’s Bike Race will also take place on Sunday, August 16, 2026, in Andeer at Wäldli. The race starts at 12:30 p.m. Registration takes place on-site. A course will be set up for the children, where the focus is not on the fastest time but on the smallest time difference between two runs.
Festival Food Court and Award Ceremony
Starting at 11:00 a.m., the festival food stand in Andeer, located in the Wäldli between the mineral baths and the outdoor pool, will be serving food. The awards ceremony will begin at 3:00 p.m.
