Piazza Culinaria: Become a Host Today

Foodies, culinary enthusiasts, and home cooks, take note: Piazza Culinaria brings people together through great food, warm hospitality, and inspiring encounters.

For Piazza Culinaria 2026, Viamala Tourism is looking for hosts who are willing to open their doors and serve their guests a regional three-course surprise menu. Whether outdoors in the garden or in the comfort of their own home, together we’ll create an evening full of culinary delights, stories, and cultural exchange.

A Culinary Experience and a Gathering

As a host or hostess, you’ll welcome the guests assigned to you and create an evening that brings people together. The focus isn’t just on culinary experiences, but also on conversation, meeting new people, and sharing experiences.

Guests sign up through a booking portal. Hosts provide a three-course meal featuring regional specialties and create a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

Event Dates

Piazza Culinaria 2026 will take place on the following dates:

• Saturday, September 19, 2026, 7:00 p.m.
• Saturday, September 26, 2026, 7:00 p.m.

A special highlight: Mauro Caviezel will be making a personal appearance at one of the venues on September 26. If his sports schedule permits, Gino Caviezel will also be part of Piazza Culinaria.

Who can become a host?

We are looking for people who enjoy cooking and entertaining. Requirements include space for at least 6 guests, a backup plan in case of bad weather, and a regional three-course meal.

The participation fee is CHF 49 per person. Of this amount, CHF 34 goes to the host to cover expenses. In addition, hosts receive complimentary wine, a thoughtful gift, and an invitation to a special event for hosts in the fall.
