Experience the legendary Splügen Pass without any cars: With the FreiPass Splügen, the pass road between Splügen and Campodolcino is closed to motorized traffic - and opened to all those who want to conquer the pass under their own steam.

How to get there: Take the Rhaetian Railway to Thusis, then continue by PostBus directly to Splügen.

Important: A reservation via the SBB app is mandatory for bicycle transport by PostBus! No transportation possible without a reservation. Additional connections are only visible from Thusis.

Experience exciting guided tours of the "Avalanche gallery - engineering art on the historic traffic route" with Reto Attenhofer - at 11 a.m., 12 noon and 1 p.m. from the Splügen side.

E-bike

At Splügen Sport you can rent e-bikes and use the bike support until June 14. Pick up your bike directly at the stand on the festival site and reserve it in advance using the form with the note "Free pass".

Arrival by public transport

The "Einfach für Retour" public transport offer from PostBus and the Rhaetian Railway applies to the Splügen Free Pass. You buy a single ticket for the outward journey, stamp it at the festival site and can use it to travel back free of charge.

    • Splügen - Thusis: 13:44, 14:54, 15:44, 16:54

  • Important note: Bike transport only with reservation via SBB app! Additional courses only appear in the app from Thusis (not visible in the Zurich - Splügen search)

Arriving by car

Splügen can be reached from Chur and Mesocco via the A13 motorway. Parking is available at the Splügen-Tambo Bergbahnen car park.

The festival restaurant is run by the Speluca Brewery and the Genusshotel Splügen. Look forward to cool beer, fine specialties from the region and cosy food in the middle of the festivities.

Fine food with a view awaits you at the Berghaus Splügenpass. Enjoy tambo focaccia and other delicacies in a cozy atmosphere on the pass.

  • Reserve parking lot "Im Loch"
