In the summer of 2026, the Viamala Gorge will serve as the setting for a unique theatrical experience: R(h)ein ins Vergnügen. Gian Rupf and Volker Ranisch will take you on a journey along the Rhine, from its source to the open sea.

Across five chapters, they weave together stories, characters, and myths into a piece that is both poetic and humorous. Amid mythical creatures, romantic encounters, and the “Old Father Rhine,” an atmospheric experience unfolds, brimming with wordplay, sound, and emotion, set against the impressive backdrop of the Viamala.
