The vocal quartet "Ils Grischuns" was founded in 2019. All eight members are from the canton of Graubünden. They have set themselves the goal of preserving Romansh vocal culture in particular. The vocal ensemble is directed by Heinz Girschweiler-Schaniel, a musician from Chur. The ensemble has already given several concerts both domestically and abroad. The concert in Andeer will feature primarily sacred compositions by Graubünden composers. The concert will be rounded out with songs by local composers Tumasch and Benedetg Dolf.
The concert will be enhanced by the organ playing of former pastor Michael Dahinden, who served in Andeer from 2014 to 2021. His twin sister, Franziska Dahinden, will accompany her brother on the flute. Both have degrees in music and reside in the canton of Uri.
