Guided hike from Nufenen to San Bernardino

Guided hike with Susanne Hollenstein.
From Nufenen, the trail leads through the deeply carved Val Curciusa, climbing gently to Alp de Rog. From there, the path becomes steeper as it winds through alpine flower meadows up to Strec de Vignun. Beneath the mighty Pizzo Uccello, with views of the Misox, we descend on this guided hike over gentle terrain alongside babbling brooks to San Bernardino. With a bit of luck, the alpine roses will already be in bloom.

Requirement

• Duration: 5.5 hours (hiking time, excluding breaks)
• Ascent 1,050 m, descent 1,000 m, distance 15 km, difficulty T2
• What to bring: Picnic, drinks, snacks, hiking boots, layers of clothing, rain gear, sunscreen, and a change of clothes (if possible), hiking poles
