Opening Celebration for the Pentecost Project: Little Bridge – Emergency Aid in Armenia
none
The launch event for the 2026–2028 Pentecost Project will take place as part of the Pentecost celebration of the Heinzenberg-Domleschg church region at the church. Rev. Kathrin Ritzi, president of the Little Bridge Association, will present the new Pentecost Project, “Emergency Aid in Armenia,” during the service, together with Rita Gianelli from the Office for Migration and the Global Church.
The theme of the celebration is "Giving Sheep." That's because, in Armenia, six sheep can provide for an entire family.
We are raising money to buy sheep for families in Armenia. The Little Bridge Switzerland association, with which the National Church’s Department for Migration and the Global Church is launching and organizing the 2026–2028 Pentecost Project, is responsible for purchasing the sheep and distributing them in collaboration with local residents.
Following the Pentecost service at the Reformed Church in Präz, which has "Sheep" as its theme, there will be a communal meal prepared by the rural women's association.
In the afternoon, starting at 1:15 p.m., the "Kirche Kunterbunt" event will take place, with a focus on sheep. Visitors can look forward to a colorful program put together by the Kirche Kunterbunt team, featuring a visit to the pasture, crafts, tastings, hand massages, stories, and a film. The event will conclude around 4:00 p.m. with a shared snack.
