Route

The viaMala Alta is a five-day guided ski tour from Wergenstein over the Splügen Pass to Bivio. The route takes in peaks such as Gelbhorn, Surettahorn, Piz Tambo, and Piz Spadolazzo and requires solid alpine experience, confident ski touring skills, good physical condition, and weather-appropriate equipment.
The tour is accompanied by a certified ski tour guide from the Grischa Mountain Sports School. Changes to the route due to conditions or safety decisions are possible at any time.

Stage times

The stage times are guidelines without breaks and may vary depending on conditions, group speed, and selected variants. We recommend allowing plenty of time, as the tour includes both scenic highlights and challenging passages.

Border crossing Switzerland-Italy

The tour crosses the border into Italy in several stages. A valid ID card or passport is required to cross the border.
