Luggage transportation
Your luggage will be transported from hotel to hotel. The package price includes one piece of luggage of max. 15 kg per person. Additional pieces of luggage must be registered at the time of booking and will be charged separately. Attach the pre-printed luggage label (received on arrival) to your suitcase or travel bag. Please do not attach any objects (shoes, hiking poles, etc.) to the outside of your luggage. No liability can be accepted for luggage and luggage transportation.
Luggage Transport with Overnight Stay in Thusis
If you've booked the package that includes an overnight stay in Thusis, luggage transport is included from the start.
Luggage Transport Without an Overnight Stay in Thusis
If you’re starting your hike in Thusis without staying overnight, the luggage drop-off point is the Hotel Gyger B&B in Thusis at Neudorfstrasse 92.
Luggage can be dropped off there from Monday to Sunday between 07:00 and 10:00 and will be transported directly to the next hotel. Attach the pre-printed luggage labels to your luggage.
Cröt/Juppa – Soglio – Chiavenna Route
From Cröt or Juppa, your luggage will be transported directly to Chiavenna. This means that for the pass crossing, your stay in Soglio, and the hike to Chiavenna, you should pack only the essentials in your daypack. Don’t forget a change of clothes, toiletries, medication, and a toothbrush.

There are lockers for small items of luggage at Thusis station.
Prices for lockers:
24 hours CHF 3.00 - CHF 8.00
For longer depot times and/or larger items of luggage, please contact the Rhaetian Railway ticket counter, tel. +41 81 288 47 16. Deposit costs at the ticket counter: CHF 8.00 per item of luggage.
Luggage storage Chiavenna
You can leave your luggage at the guest information desk (train station) in Chiavenna if required.
Lockers rates:
Up to 2 hours: €3.00 per bag
2 to 4 hours: €5.00 per bag
24 hours: €8.00 per bag
