Andeer Reformed Church

Andeer with the Reformed Church in the fall
The reformed church in Andeer is an evangelical-reformed place of worship at the northern entrance to the village.

Built in 1673 in the Baroque style after the Grisons Troubles, today's church is based on the building fabric of several predecessors. A church in Andeer in the same location was first mentioned in a document in 1419. The striking tower, which dominates the village skyline, was added in 1827 and topped with an onion dome on the polygonal tower. The church is under cantonal monument protection.

The focal point of the church is the baptismal font in front of the steps to the choir, which also serves as a communion table according to the reformed Grisons tradition. The inlaid pulpit dates back to 1677.

The organ was installed in 1967 and found its place in the gallery.
