Visiting the marmots

Adult CHF 12.00, child (6 - 16 years) CHF 8.00, child under 5 years free of charge (to be paid on booking)

On the guided discovery tour into the Bergalgatal, you will learn a lot about the life of marmots. We can observe the animals and their young up close. Registration until 11.00 a.m. the day before

We walk from Juppa along the world's only signposted adventure and nature trail to the "Olta Stofel" in Hinder Bergalga, where our excursion ends.

On the way, we encounter the furry hibernator in its natural habitat and learn lots of interesting facts about the life of marmots. The trail is suitable for baby carriages.
The return to Juppa can be undertaken individually.
At the "Olta Stofel" there is an alpine restaurant where you can fortify yourself for the way back. Opening hours 11.00 - 17.00.
In Juppa, next to the parking lot, there is a well-equipped barbecue area and a playground.

Equipment: Good shoes and clothing suitable for the weather. Snacks for the individual return to Juppa. Binoculars recommended.

The excursion lasts approx. 1 1/2 - 2 hours and only takes place in dry weather.
Children under the age of 5 can take part, but must have sufficient stamina to run along. Children up to the age of 12 must be accompanied by their parents or an accompanying person.
We do not recommend taking dogs with you, as the marmots will not crawl out of their burrows.

Online registration required by 11.00 a.m. the day before, limited number of participants. Minimum number of participants: 5 paying persons.
