Treasure chest in Domleschg - guided tour of Dusch Chapel

The chapel of St. Mary Magdalene is located slightly above the hamlet of Dusch. Guests are greeted on their ascent by a large Christophorus by the Waltensburg Master. Inside, the same workshop has painted the life story of Mary Magdalene, which is brought to life in a very special, medieval-looking way thanks to the lighting conditions. In front of the chapel, we enjoy the view of the Domleschg and the Heinzenberg.

Travel by post bus to Paspels Dorf, then walk approx. 20 minutes to Dusch. Parking spaces next to the Olgiati school in Paspels, approx. 10 minutes on foot. Those with limited mobility can park at the third bend in the road to Tomils and walk to the Dusch chapel at the same level on the Alte Transerstrasse. A beautiful hiking trail, approx. 20 minutes.
