We won't go home without a rock crystal. Adventurous treasure hunt in the region around the Beverin Nature Park. Registration required 1 - 2 weeks in advance.

Experience the fascination of bringing a sparkling, millions-of-years-old rock crystal to light from inside the rock. Our beautiful Swiss mountains hide treasures inside that have been growing for millions of years. A rock crystal is a natural wonder: it grows in absolute darkness surrounded by large rocks and stones - it then sparkles like sunshine! Bringing such a treasure to light requires patience, sensitivity and respect for nature. Together with Markus B. Komminoth, a professional crystal cutter, you can spend a whole day immersed in this fascinating world of rock crystals and Swiss nature.

Day tours from sunrise at the earliest to sunset at the latest for individuals, groups up to a maximum of 5
Persons or one or two families with children aged 6 and over
Introduction to the world of Swiss rock crystals and minerals and expert guidance throughout the day

Requirements for participants

Good physical condition
Surefootedness
Free from giddiness
At least one hiking experience in the mountains (difficulty level not above T3 on the SAC hiking scale)
The tour will be customized in consultation with you

Equipment

Mountain boots with tread up to the ankles
Rain cover
Trekking pants / long jeans pants (could be damaged)
Backpack
Food for a whole day from your rucksack, enough to drink
Sun protection (sunglasses, sun cream, sun hat)
Gardening gloves if available

Insurance is the responsibility of the participants. Crystal hunting only takes place in good weather conditions. Registration required up to 1 - 2 weeks in advance, limited number of participants.
